AFAIK, a 'fix' is in the works from MS but Ive heard that before the outstanding issue. I just use Outlook for my Exchange Server and Outlook 365. It seems like the earlier users maintain some sync between themselves, but new users can't accurately access the calendar.Ĭomparing OWA and Outlook versions helped me realize that must be what's going on in our case. A long-standing bug exists that prevents synching from completing or stops synching of contacts altogether, its been going for years - at least 2011, that I know of. Any new user added to the calender will get a copy of the calendar in the state they were added to it, but then any new events will not sync to them after they've been added.

On 5/16/17, I updated to the latest version of Azure AD connect and Outlook for Mac 15.34 (170515) was released, so I suspect it was one of those two changes that caused the problem. I also upgraded to Yosemite recently and Im pretty sure thats when calendar invites received through Mail.app started behaving oddly - beforehand I would just click Accept and the email disappeared.
So, in the current state, users who were granted access to the calendar before the user was removed are still able to use and sync the calendar. A user noticed on 5/29/17 that the calendar on our o365 Public Foldes wasnt up to date on their Outlook for Mac 2016. The main issue (Calendar.app not syncing with Exchange) started when I switched time zones on - I have now switched it off but that doesnt help. PROBLEM: New users who are added will see the appointments added to the calendar up to that point, but any new appointments added by any user will not be seen by the new user.
